Welcome to a our pre-school setting for our youngest learners. We offer both term-time and year-round provision, helping families find an arrangement that suits their needs, with additional hours also available on request.
Support for Learning
At Sandwick, our Support for Learning Department is committed to Getting It Right for Every Learner, ensuring that all children and young people feel included, supported and empowered to achieve their full potential. Support is delivered flexibly across mainstream classrooms and more specialist settings, ensuring each learner receives the right support in the right environment to thrive.
Primary
Across our Primary 1-7 classes, we celebrate each child as an individual, supporting them to develop confidence, independence, creativity and a lifelong love of learning.
Secondary
Our Secondary Department supports learners from S1 to S4 as they progress through the Broad General Education and into the Senior Phase, preparing them for their next steps in learning, life and work. Our small class sizes and bespoke approach to curriculum delivery allow us to respond to individual strengths, needs and aspirations. We work closely with a range of wider partners to provide meaningful learning experiences, with a focus on skills for work and preparing young people for positive destinations beyond school.
